yes.... I never did before but I do now. I've recently returned: lip colors that I didn't like, mascara that flattened the curl, concealer that I ended up not liking because it didn't work well with my foundation, and several other mascaras. I've returned at CVS and Sephora.

I returned to Sephora before. The Nars blush I ordered broke in transit (bought online) & they were very easy to work with. I had no idea you could return make up before!

I've returned a lipgloss that gave me a rash and a moisturizer that made me shiny. Both were at Nordstrom.

@Banana: If you don't mind drugstore brands, I use Covergirl LashExact Waterproof because it holds curl. I hear that any waterproof mascara is better for holding curl, in general.

@banana: OMG. I could write a BOOK. I absolutely refuse to curl lashes after mascara so I've probably tried every drugstore version out there. I started with L'oreal Le Grand Curl-- discontinued. Then Maybelline Sky High Curves-- discontinued. UGH! I'm now using Maybelline Lash Stiletto Voluputous in WATERPROOF.

One of the biggest keys is to always use WATERPROOF. There's something about the formula that dries quicker, keeping the curl intact.

BUT. I've tried EVERY Revlon waterproof mascara and every single one of them flattens the curl.

I've tried several Cover Girl mascaras as well and have had zero luck there too.... so sticking with my Maybelline Lash Stiletto Voluptuous for now. I tried Benefit's They're Real from Sephora and immediately returned it. I use so much mascara I don't want to go into the high end brands unless I have to!

I've retruned eye shawdow to Estee Lauder that was a different shade in the box then what it said on the outside, I was not happy about that! they apologized but it was another trip to the mall!

I used to work at Bath & Body Works and people returned half empty bottles of lotion all the time. It was usually sketchy though because the same people did it over and over. They just wanted free products.

I have returned lots of things at Sephora that haven't worked for me, that's the beauty of their return policy! But I'm not sketchy and don't return half used items

@sweetchic: lol yeah.. I just could not have the confidence to return something half gone and come up with a stupid excuse for it. I don't know how people do that/get away with it!!

I haven't, but my friend has and recommends to do so if you don't like a product. I would have, but I was just too lazy to go back to Sephora.
