@MrsTal: Is load day and time set? What page to be refreshing? Im not going to buy I just want to try carting for practice.
blogger / nectarine / 2600 posts
Does anyone know if its comparable to the clothing lines that cart, Sweet Honey, Well Dressed Wolf, Sassy Chic Boutique, etc Is it similar?
clementine / 901 posts
@Mrs. Chocolate: yes it's similar to those brands, or so I've heard. Stocking is every other Sunday at 6 pdt. Link is posted on Tula's Facebook page 30 minutes before stocking. Honestly, if you want the practice you could probably be someone's stocking buddy and if you score sell to them.

@MrsTal: I'm trying again today! I'd love the Girasol Bay as my wrap is a Girasol, but I don't have my hopes up of course!
@Mrs. Chocolate: Follow Tula Baby Carriers on Facebook - I believe links for today's stocking just went up there. I've never purchased any of the clothing brands, but I've heard of people talking about WDW cartings in the same way as Tula stockings so I imagine it's similar!

@MrsTal: Oh yeah I would cart buddy for someone. I just want to practice. So PDT is Pacific Standard time? Im on the east so trying to understand what time it is for me.
@twodoghouse: Ok Ill join the page. I love carting (the rush) lol though it sucks when you dont get it but for this at least Im not as invested so it helps!
honeydew / 7230 posts
@Mrs. Chocolate: I think it's 3 PDT, actually. It's happening at 5 my time (cst), which should be 6 your time? (I just plug the time into google). Basically in 6 minutes!

@Mrs. Chocolate: Also, if you do happen to score and want to purchase it, you could turn around and sell pretty easily on any number of Tula/Babywearing pages! Or, you know, here.
honeydew / 7230 posts
@Mrs. Chocolate: It'll load at the links posted on Facebook. Just refresh until the carriers pop up! Things jump out of carts really easily. Is that what you mean by do the carts hold? If so, then no, I don't think so!
blogger / nectarine / 2600 posts
Whoa! I carted and dropped because the price shocked me! I was thinking 150 I guess from the main site! How much can they resell for when the starting price is so high????
pomelo / 5628 posts
@Mrs. Chocolate: wrap conversions are usually around 350 and up and they hold their value and go up from there depending on how rare/desirable they are.
blogger / nectarine / 2600 posts
@Mrs Green Grass: I admit Im not much of a baby wearer and when I do I prefer buckles ones over any other one so I really have no idea. I did get my Beco years ago and remember it being in the one fifty range but Ive never looked into more than that. If I cart for someone I just want to make sure I can sell and not be stuck with something I wont use myself.
pomelo / 5628 posts
@Mrs. Chocolate: wrap conversions sell well, but I've never done so myself. There is a very large tula buy/sell/trade community of Fb.
pomegranate / 3604 posts
@Mrs. Chocolate: we can deeffffffinitely work something out sometime. And you can turn around and easily sell it for 500+ (more likely in the 600-800$ range, tbh). Join Tula market value questions on fb to give you an idea.

I scored!!! Credit goes to my DH, he did something to the computer to help the internet speed! I actually just had to look and see if full or a half cuz I clicked so fast. It's a full Voyage Iceland! This baby is coming to live with me (unless I decide I want to trade it for something else):

@twodoghouse: @sera_87: I would be more than happy to help you guys out next stocking! It's such a rush!!!
blogger / nectarine / 2600 posts
@MrsTal: Wow thats beautiful! I dont even recall the one I carted lol
pomelo / 5628 posts
@BandDmommy: you can check value in the tula market value fb group. Pretty much all tulas sell for retail and many higher. That's a canvas tula, not wrap conversion. Same exact structure, just not crazy expensive fabric. The only differences in tulas are standard or toddler size and the type of fabric.
blogger / nectarine / 2600 posts
@MrsTal: I didnt see that on their Facebook page of the ones listed. Do they show all options being listed or no?

Is the fabric of the non-canvas that big of a difference to justify the price or is it just priced high bc it's so difficult to get/sought after? I'm very intrigued by this whole thing...the competitive side of me wants to join in on the frenzy and I'm not even pregnant yet.

@MrsTal: congrats!!
@TrailRunner: wrap conversions feel much different than canvas since they're madd out of wraps. The retail price is high because typically wraps are expensive (especially rare/highly sought after wraps) and they're handmade in Poland, with one person making the wrap conversion from start to finish. The market value price is typically way higher since they're hard to get.

@QBbride: thanks for answering! So, what you are saying is that I'm justified in letting my competitive side come out and going crazy as if this were one of the rare beanie babies?
clementine / 901 posts
@Mrs. Chocolate: no they only do a limited preview, so you never know what all they are going to have, which is annoying.
kiwi / 635 posts
@Mrs. Chocolate: Kinderpacks have gotten nearly as crazy (or maybe are actually as crazy) as the Tula wrap conversions, and have stockings on Thursdays at 1 pm Eastern. I'd be happy to have you be my carting buddy if you were interested :).

@QBbride: Me! Now it's becoming just the fun of the hunt, I guess. I'm not really expecting to score, but who knows? I just really want a Tula and would love a WC. My husband has gotten into it too and just told my daughter she needed to come into the living room so that mommy could try to score, haha!

I just tried but the human question was so long. Also my daughter was climbing on me so I didnt think I had a chance really. I need to read up too as I still dont quite get what Im buying

GUYS! I totally just got one! I barely know what I clicked on. It's pink!! It must be a half because it wasn't too pricey. I think it was raspberry lisca? Woo hoo! I'm so excited!
@MrsTal: Have you received yours from the last stocking? I'm dying to know when mine will come!
pomegranate / 3192 posts
@twodoghouse: haha so cute! Well the two I really wanted were gone right away so I'm giving up for this week. Good luck!!
@MamaBehr: good luck! Going for anything in particular?
pomegranate / 3275 posts
THAT WAS INTENSE! I got right on, and still didn't get one! I guess it was a rookie mistake to not just click on one, instead I looked at all they had to offer. That's ok. DH would have killed me if I spent $310 on one
honeydew / 7230 posts
@MamaBehr: I did that the first time too. I just didn't want to click on one that I didn't love! But the last two times I clicked faster, although still on ones that caught my attention. I actually clicked on two Girasols that were gone before getting the Lisca. It must not be as highly sought after, but I'm so excited. Here's the one I got:
