LO pooped in her undies during naptime at daycare. I guess it smelled bad because her teacher put the undies (and log) in a bag and put it outside. It was 103 degrees yesterday so it wasn't a pretty sight or smell for me at pickup time! 
I wanted to throw away the undies sooo bad but LO is obsessed with the bear print...grandma bought them in Japan so I can't replace easily.

We were actually luckily and got some hand me down undies from my niece (again, we know them REALLY well). We let her use those undies during "training" and since they were already a bit old, we just tossed them if it didn't plop off nicely.

I definitely have-- I learned that when potty training to just go ahead and ask the parents I work for if we can pitch as needed. If it is a solid piece I do dump it out and wash but on multiple occasions (maybe 4-5 with 3 different families, I don't pitch dozens!) they were just not worth salvaging. Onesies fell into that category too-- the first time I went to the mom and said I would buy her more and she just laughed and said she did it too.

I don't mind poop! 103 degree weather poop sounds pretty grody though.

I tried to but DH had a fit and couldn't believe I would just "throw away money"

@autumnlove: yuck! When I was working in daycare (potty training room!), we would try to plop out the poop if it was solidish... but liquid probably would be either thrown away or bagged up. It wouldn't be easy to get that in the toilet! I've definitely thrown away underwear that was not salvagable.

@autumnlove: oh it was a log to begin with? Then I would have thrown out I'm the toilet but I understand the teacher forgetting! It's hard cleaning up an accident even you're trying to watch other kiddos. I don't think I would have p put it outside though, especially with it being that hot. Double bag that sucker!
But yeah, too much poop talk, haha.

Poop undies get one shot at oxyclean in the washer. If they don't come out clean, they get tossed.

No, but my husband and nanny did! They both ganged up on me and would throw them away! It was probably only 3 pairs only, but I was the only one brave enough to clean them out!

I have tossed them rather than trying to clean them. Luckily DD has never gotten too attached to a specific pair and has many so I can usually distract if she asks where a specific pair went.

I would toss those in a hot second, no way would I have opened that bag.

gross. I have before. D pooped his pants at target and i threw them away and bought new ones.
