I've worked at 2 places with my older sister, in HS we both worked at DQ and then in college I was the receptionist at her hair salon. I was my little sister's manager at DQ for a little bit as well. So, I've worked with both siblings! ha

I worked with D for 4 years (different but very connected departments in a small, family-owned business). I joke that I knew I could marry him because I could work with him all day and still want to spend time with him at night

Nope! I've worked with my dad at his place of work (he doesn't own it) for a summer but I was in the computer side of things and he was manual labor. Much preferred my position my mom works for herself as a hair stylist so nothing I can do for her. If I lived in my brothers state I could work for him, he owns a large company there. I think I would like running a company with my family though, if ever given the chance. I could never work with DH's though, we wouldn't agree on anything, I don't think.

I have never worked with family, but I worked on my dad in dental school! I think it would be easier to work with him than on him, lol!

Yes, my mom and I have worked together at two companies. We weren't in the same departments, but we would work well together if we were. She does accounting, which has always bored me LOL More power to anyone who does it!
