This past weekend, we flew home from Pensacola. At the end of the flight, i handed our 16 month old to my husband and got up to get the Ergo and our bags. When I turned back around, I saw the passenger in the aisle seat behind us handing a roller bag to the woman in the window seat in front of us.

It was like slow motion. The guy pushes the suitcase forward (because the woman in the window seat was a. going to have somewhere to put it and b. needed it NOW) and it smacked M in the head with the wheels of the bag.

I.. Saw. Red. We had just spent the last hour and a half with a toddler who kept switching between crying and smiling (85% of that was crying and flailing and flopping...). I looked at the woman in the window seat and said,

"Maybe, JUST MAYBE, you could WAIT FIVE SECONDS and pick up your bag in the aisle so it's not smacking small children in the head! It won't even fit in your seat with you, what are you going to do with it!?"

I was so mad. My husband talked to the bag pusher who said sorry and he "didn't realize she was still there..." I just got my baby and got off that flight as quickly as possible.

I stood in the jet bridge fuming for a few minutes while I waited for my husband and our stroller and the woman sitting next to the woman in the window passed by. She said to me, "Good for you, I would have been SO MAD if that happened to my child!!"

Gah. It's almost a week later and I'm still upset about it!!
