@PurplePumps: I don't know! I'm getting tired of stainless steel though. It's hard to keep shiny and clean too.. especially since little grubby hands like to touch it.

@chopsuey: I cried a little on the inside when I first saw this. We JUST bought a brand new stainless steel fridge and would give anything to exchange it for this white one! (: Ugh, oh well....

@hellocupcake: Yay! I'm just tired of people on house hunters complaining about appliances not being staaaainless (insert very whiny voice). I've never been cool enough to have stainless, but I did want it just cause I like dark cabinets but not with white or the super shiny black. If this is a matte black, I'm gonna be all over it when (if) we upgrade!

@PurplePumps: I have always like SS for the aesthetic combination with darker cabinets too . . . we have had stainless for years, but really, I have always liked appliances that *work* with spaces (the loft I was in when I met DH had super cool black appliances . . . not shiny, but not quite matte either, and I really liked those!).

No matter where the trend goes we are covered. We have the trifecta of appliances: black dishwasher, white stove, SS fridge.

I've always told DH that stainless is going to be our generations version of olive green appliances from the 70s. Personally I'm a fan of black appliances but these are very sleek looking!

I am a fan. I personally hate stainless, especially stoves, unless they are professional style.

I love them! I've never been a fan of the look of stainless steel, but I like the way it "feels," if you get it. So these I love!

I was JUST telling my mom that I don't think stainless will be the trend for much longer! She still has white appliances and hates them. But hellooooo I love these matte white and black appliances!

I have seen them and I love them! I have stainless but I hate trying to keep them clean! I feel like I am constantly cleaning them, and it's never enough!
I think my mom is going to go for the White Ice appliances. They are about due for an upgrade and she really wanted an alternative to stainless.

DH is in the appliance business and he mentioned a while back that these are going to eventually become more popular than stainless steel - honestly, i doubt it and if so it'll be a while but i LOVE how clean it looks!

I can deal with the smudges LO creates, but when I see (OR FEEL!) stuff stuck to the fridge door handles it is all I can do to keep my cool. *augh* Is it really too much to ask people to at least wipe stuff down if they contaminate it?!

I like it! Stainless is on the way out, I've heard. But it will take a while for it to be totally out.
