I just joined a mom group. I will meet them for the first time on Thursday.

M and I went to a playgroup today with 4 moms who have been in the same group since their kids were born and we were the new kids! Eeep! I'm shy but I'm so glad that we went. M had a great time and I hope to get to know the moms better. I'm the first of my good friends to have a baby and I'd love to have some mom friends IRL.

Yep! None of my friends have kids yet so I've been making a huge effort to meet more moms, and I clicked with one of the ones I met! Yay! Hoping to meet more soon

Our neighbors a few doors down had their first child 2 weeks ago. I brought them some dinner & treats and offered to walk their dog if they needed it. They're friendly and seem really nice, so I hope we can become friends!

Yes, I met a couple of moms at the library storytime a couple of months back and we try to have weekly meetups together. It's nice to make new "mom" friends.

No, but I hope I do soon! My friends haven't checked on me once since I announced LO's birth...I think it's time to find new ones!

Since moving abroad my friends here are all moms! I joined a moms group not long after we moved and it has been helpful and really nice meeting English speaking moms. Since I WAH, it is also a good way to meet adults. We just had a new family join our group this past week, so it is always exciting to have new people.

I have a hard time finding the right avenues to meet other moms, I don't have issues in general making friends, but my time is so limited during the week and on the weekends our to do list is soooo long it is hard to make the time.
I'm not too creepy, right, @Andrea, lol?

I really don't have any mom friends. I want to join our local parents with multiples group to help DH & I branch out a bit. Its so nerve racking cause I am SO socially awkward & I end up stuttering or saying something stupid.
