We have pest control spray every other month but even with that, we have had 10+ spiders in our house this week and they are COVERING the outside of my house too (really, I just went outside and there were 6 on the door and 4 on the porch). Not tiny things either but big, fat guys with hair.
Gross. Have you seen more spiders than usual this year?

I have found a couple tiny ones inside the house and it freaks me out with LO crawling/cruising all over the place!!

YES! I thought it was because we were living in a new city, but maybe not! LO loves looking at the itsy bitsy spiders on our windows. me, not so much.

Nope, I've seen significantly fewer in and around my house! I don't really mind them, within reason.

Ugh, yes! We have a brown recluse fest on our back porch. I went on a killing spree this past weekend, since the weather should start improving and we will be out there more soon. I only kill the super toxic ones though.

I figured it was because I have a baby now, and so my housekeeping leaves something to be desired.....
I killed about 20 baby spiders in the bathroom last week. It was so gross.

@HLK208: yeah, I was really mad when I found them! I took out a lot of aggression with a long stick. Our little outdoor geckos aren't doing their job! But at least they keep the scorpions down, now those are unacceptable

Gross! We had a giant 3" one inside the house a few weeks ago when DH was out of town. I was too terrified to take care of it and just left it under a bowl until DH came home!

@chopsuey: Because they have serious thrill issues? I dunno! I lived on the 17th floor once and a helicopter pilot waved at me as he was tooling along . . . that freaked me out just a little. Well, that and standing out on the balcony. I am not afraid of heights, but my imagination really got the best of me!

Yes! I thought it was because we moved to a new place/area, but we have smaller ones in the corners of the ceiling in each room and every night a couple of huge ones come out from behind the TV!
