It's starting to get cooler in Boston - typically only 70 degrees every day. Time to pack away the summer duds, I guess.
Have you packed away your kid's summer clothes?

I started just today! I keep hoping the weather will warm up but it looks as though summer is gone for good. LO had such cute summer clothes!!!

Started last week. It's starting to cool down, that and most of his summer clothes were packed away because he outgrew them. It makes me sad when I put clothes away because they don't fit...growing too fast

I'll probably do it next week. Looks like summer is over!

No. Some of it I have to pack away, but my Mom just went out and bought basic pants and t-shirts that I can layer under the cute summer dresses and tops!

It's still warm over here so not yet. Probably within the next couple weeks though. So sad to think summer's gone already!

Nope, it is still in the 80s every day here right now.
Wish it was cooler though! Ready for fall!

It's still hot in California - it was triple digits last week! So we still have all of the shorts and tank tops and summer dresses out still. Just waiting to pack those all away so we can all dress for fall.

Ditto Mrs Checkers - It's been over 80 for almost a month. The 10 day forecast is still 80+. I'm getting very tired of it!

Its kinda summer clothes, I packed away LO preemie and newborn clothes the other day. It's great he's growing but I cried a little packing them.

Not yet, so her clothes are a mess! Between 3 sizes and two sessions. I think I will pack up non-layering and too small clothes tomorrow. I had her in a velour cardiigan and pants with a long sleeved onesie today, it was very cool out.

I'm starting to. I'm having a hard time finding good cooler weather clothes for baby though. I have so many onesies. I need more long-sleeved shirts, pants and socks. I also don't have a coat or winter hat for baby. Time for some shopping!!

I'm with @Mrs Checkers: Cali has been awful. I'm just tired of 100+ weather

Nope I never have to pack it up down here! It gets warm all year round, even in the "winter".
persimmon / 1026 posts
Yup, just started today! He's in between sizes right now, so it's tough since I don't want to buy 3 month pants that he'll probably outgrow in just a couple weeks. The 6 month ones look so funny on him, though!

It was 105 here today, so nope
So over summer, bring on the bearable weather!

Not yet, because I still plan to use the short sleeved shirts layered over long sleeved onesies when it cools down.

Nope, I'm still not sure what to expect when it comes to the weather here. It's still warm enough for summer clothes though.

Nope. We still have the a/c on upstairs!! It's been in the 80's and looks like it's going to be that way for another week at least.

I'm in Florida. There's a good chance I wont ever have to pack away summer clothes. We just throw a jacket on over them!

@artbee: I was just about to say the same thing about TX. LOL

@lemondrop: Holy cow! I hope you get some cool weather soon.... you know, like low 90's

@BabyBoecksMom: Thanks, the last couple weeks haven't been too bad, just a temp spike the past few days. We should be getting down to better temps after this weekend. I can't wait to get outside and start playing, I'm feeling so cooped up!

Good call. I think I will do that today, now that you mention it, and pack mine away too! I'll be keeping all the short sleeved onesies though, for him to wear as undershirts. Time to put the shorts away. It's not much for him, but putting away the summer stuff will really clear up my closet and drawers.

I don't usually change for the seasons. It's still over 90 most days right now and when it does start to get cooler I extend use with baby legs and sweaters. So I guess it's more gene do I pull out the fall/winter clothes.
squash / 13199 posts
No she will continue to wear her summer dresses and clothes layered over long sleeve onesies and tights. She is only 5 months old and if I pack them away she will never get to wear them again, she will have outgrown them by next summer
