Hellobee Boards

I've only told a handful of friends about it. The people I've told are those who would greatly benefit from it as I have AND who I trust to respect my desire for privacy (ie. not talk to others about the things I write on HB).

Only my mom knows about it. I think that some people would think it's weird that I'm addicted to an online forum???

But I am obsessive -this is MY SPACE lol. I want to post here anonymously (although if someone were to find me here, I'm probably pretty easy to figure out), I like having it be my thing.
Whereas facebook is public and all my friends see it and comment on it consistently, this is one place where no one IRL will talk about /comment on.

I haven't told any in real life friends/family about it. I have told my online friends about it. I'm weird about talking to friends and family about my "online" life.

I haven't just because I want to maintain my privacy on this site. I'm sad that I don't share because this is such a great place, but keeping my anonymity is important to me.

I like my anonymity on this site... it allows me to openly discuss topics that are very personal without worrying about what other people in my life will think. However, I have so far told one close friend about this site, since I thought she would like it. I didn't tell her my screen name, although she might be able to figure it out...

Similar to pp, I haven't because I would like to retain privacy.

I have a few friends who have kids and I have casually directed them to HB. I usually say something about hearing about a website but don't let them know that I am on it as much as I am or that we're TTC.

I jus told one friend who is going to start TTC in August about it. Otherwise i haven't really told anyone about it.

Not in specific terms, but my in real life friends knew vaguely that I was a part of weddingbee and know about hellobee now too

I only told my pregnant friend in another state! She didn't seem too interested!

I have referenced it to a couple people. A lot of people knew I was big into Weddingbee, so when talking about things I've read, I'll say, "I read it on this new site, Hellobee, that's like Weddingbee for babies." I don't think it's that unusual for women who are waiting to TTC to read "mommy blogs." But I never let on that I am active in the community.
