Have you ever tried any essential oils on your LO and if so, did it work/help?
I was suggested to try Lavender Oil on LO's feet to help her sleep at a baby store today. Wanted to see if anyone had experience with it before I tried it.

I'm just getting into EOs myself, but I can definitely tell you that peppermint oil is effective at getting rid of coughs and colds. I've been putting lavender into a humidifier in the kids' room and they HAVE been sleeping better, but I've only been doing it for a few nights.

Yes and I've tried DoTerra lavender on her feet...and nothing. I've been doing it as a part of her bedtime routine forever.

@shopaholic: No, just a plain ol' el cheapo humidifier. I tested it with some cheaper oils first and they don't seem to get hung up on the filter. You can get specific EO diffusers, but the generic ones are expensive, so I decided to try the humidifiers first. We need them running anyways and it seems like the same basic concept of a diffuser to me, so...

@shopaholic: we just started using EO's but instead if putting them in the humidifier, I just put the oil on an old a&a blanket and put it over the spout. It keeps the humifier fresher and not yucky.
