I voted this morning before work. Usually there is maybe 10 people in line and it rarely takes me more than 15 minutes. This morning, there was a line out the door (in the cold rain- boo!) and I would guess there were probably 60 people in line before me. It took almost 45 minutes. When my husband went at 10:30, he said the line was still out the door. It feels like a bigger turnout at my polling place than any other election I've seen (and I vote in every single election). So interested/nervous to see the nation-wide results tonight.

I dropped my ballot at a drop off ballot box at our local library during story time om Sunday! They had a kids voting booth set up in the children’s section. It was adorable. My toddler was super excited for the sticker!

I meant to vote early but I forgot so I went this morning right at 7 when it opened. The line was down the street! It took me about an hour but everyone seemed to be diligently staying to make sure they got their votes in! It made me so happy!

We dont have early voting here. I went at 8:30 w/ 3 week old DD and there was a line out the door! Hope the pouring rain doesn’t hurt turnout.

Definitely doing absentee next year! I will be voting on the way home this evening. I was planning to vote this morning on the way to work, but the catholic church that is our poling place looks like easter or christmas mass with cars and people everywhere. I don't think it will be any faster after work either.

Yup, I voted early. Checked online and my ballot was verified and counted.

I just voted over my lunch hour. No line, but there were plenty of folks in there, and I heard the election judge say that they were having a healthy turn out. Feeling a little guilty that I didn't bring the kids, but I needed to get it done while I could, since my husband is working out of state at the polls.

Yep, dropped off our ballots this morning. DH and I nulled each other out on 3/4 of the ballot

@Mommy Finger: I’m so shocked they were an hour late!
I worked the polls twice, and they had systems in place to get substitutes if anyone wasn’t there 45 minutes before opening. Not opening on time was a huge no no where I worked!

We don’t have early voting. It took me 55 minutes to vote and it’s not even like any of the races were really contested or in question in NYC!

Voted after work and the lines were the longest I've ever seen at my polling place. I like to vote in person. It took total of 55 mins.
