Particularly any new releases, something that maybe came out in the past few months? I want to rent a few movies this weekend but not sure what to go for. I'm just finishing up reading Gone Girl, so maybe I could watch the movie, thoughts on that? Any recommendations? Something DH may enjoy, too

We just watched The Wolf of Wall Street on Netflix. Yes it's very graphic, but it was so good!

We just watched gone girl and both me and my husband loved it! Besides that I haven't seen any "new releases" lately because we've mostly been catching up on game of thrones.

Dh and I just watched Django unchained on netflix. It's super long, but I actually stayed awake the whole time so that says it was good!

We just watched Gone Girl the other night. I'd read the book and still thought the movie was really good, DH thought the movie was excellent.

We just went on a Redbox marathon over the weekend. We liked Guardians of the Galaxy, Bad Words, Obvious Child, and Wish I Was Here (which was sad).
I want to check out Enemy, What If, and Skeleton Twins -
I enjoyed Gone Girl. Thought it was a bit long though. I really want to watch Boyhood!

We just watched Gone Girl as well. I read the book but DH didn't. We both thought it was so twisted!
Can't wait to see how Charlize Theron does with Dark Place!

We have watched Guardians of the Galaxy. I love these movies in general, but this is probably one of my favourite movies of all time. It's fun and funny and such an adventure.
I also noticed someone above mentioned Django Unchained, which is also fantastic if you're into that sort of thing.

ChefWe also just saw The Maze Runner and even though it's sort of a tween movie it was pretty good.
The Interview was pretty meh, and I'm usually a fan of Rogen/Franco comedies. Maybe I was disappointed because it was so hyped up by all the news.

@Shutterbug: i think it was all the hype over 'the interview' that let some people down, i liked it a lot, but can see how it didn't live up to the craziness surrounding it. and yes to guardians of the galaxy, chef, neighbors (i think i enjoyed this way more than it deserved, but it was great, i loved it!), & 22 jump street, all were very enjoyable!
@JoyfulKiwi: i liked obvious child! def catch skeleton twins, it was really good, even mr. bird who wasn't too thrilled about going ended up liking it a lot.
i want to watch cavalry, men women & children, land ho, love is strange, and let's be cops (i love a terrible movie now and then

@Bao: yes, that one! I could not remember the name to save my life! I actually didn't really get to watch that much of it because DH decided to start it while LO was awake and I was cooking dinner but the parts I could follow were good.

@mrs. bird: Let's Be Cops was actually pretty funny, for a dumb movie! I had heard all the funny bits were in the trailer, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although we watched it on the ipad on a plane, and there is a scene with a big naked dude, and BALLS, and there was a kid sitting behind us. I was frantically covering up the ipad screen LOL!

We really liked maze runner, guardians of the galaxy, and interstellar! I really want to watch boyhood and Selma.

We just watched the remake of Evil Dead. It was fun, if you like over the top campy horror
