My older LO is almost 4, and she just learned to use the laptop and she thinks it's the coolest thing. She mastered the iPhone years ago. I was thinking though, that I should start having her "earn" phone/computer time. I'm not exactly sure how but maybe by doing little tasks, or behavior or she has to do something educational before she can play.
Any thoughts on this? Do you make LO earn screentime/other activities. If so, how?

Yes. Things like screen time, treats, stuffed animals, etc are all special privileges that get taken away for bad behavior. About a week or two ago she lost every single stuffed animal and book in her bedroom. She has been slowly earning them back for good behavior. If she has a great day at school she will ask to pick one book and stuffed animal back.
Right now she has about a dozen books and about 6-7 stuffed animals in her room. We still have a big stack of books and 1.5 garbage bag full of stuffed animals!!

My son understands money better than he understands time...so for example, if I tell him that he has to earn the money to go to the arcade, he'll do the tasks. But if I tell him he has to earn the time to use his ipad, he's less inclined to follow through.
