The Book Thief!!! It is currently on sale for Kindle and Nook for $2.90!!!!! Hope to see all you bees there. I think this will be a great read. It's 554pgs, so it'll be quite the commitment to read during the holidays, but discussing it with you all will keep me on track! If possible, let's try to get through pg. 117 for our first discussion. I think if we front load it a little bit it will help us read a little less during Christmas week. See you in Decmber!

I think this is a really good choice! I know a ton of people have already read it, but because it is such a long book in a busy month, the discussion should still be pretty interesting even if there are not a ton of people reading along. I hope the people that already read it chime in on the discussions!

Book Thief is SUCH a good book! I'm sad I won't really be able to participate in the discussion (I only have it on Kindle and won't be able to easily reference the stopping points to make sure I don't give anything away) but I will definitely enjoy reading everyone else's thoughts on the story! @Ree723: I only have it on Kindle too. If you have the kindle app onyour phone or tablet, it shows the actual page numbers. I will also look up the percents to make it easier for people with the digital versions.
