Like the title says! I'm going to a wedding in May and need a nursing friendly dress. The wedding itself is at 1:00 with the reception around 5:00. The dress doesn't have to be a nursing-specific dress, but something that will allow me to nurse easily enough. Preferably under $100.

@snowjewelz: hahaha! Guess we're in the same boat! I already looked through my dresses, but none are nursing friendly. I've heard wrap dresses are great for nursing, but I'm having trouble finding any that aren't long sleeve and since the wedding is in May, I want something that's cooler.

Two questions - are you planning to nurse in public, or just something that is comfortable/easy to pull down somewhere? Also, do you like strapless dresses?

@psw27: I'm planning on nursing in public. And I don't mind strapless dresses, though I think I'd prefer something with straps so I can wear my regular nursing bras. Not sure the girls can really pull off strapless anymore (or still fit in my strapless bra)...

Also, you could always wear a nursing top and a maxi skirt.

@regberadaisy: The last wedding I went to, Xander wasn't invited, so I had to pump, but we had a room in the same space as the reception, so I just went back to the room every 3 hours and unzipped my dress to pump.

@regberadaisy: I am not sure about the sale situation there which is why I haven't bought one yet. It looks like right now they are running 15% off jeans so maybe if we wait long enough they will do a similar sale on dresses?

@Mamaof2: Um, I LOVE your closet! Not sure if a medium would fit me or not. I wore a bunch of medium maternity shirts while pregnant, but regular medium shirts are too small for me now, so maybe it depends on the brand??

@Adira: Someone in a review said they were wearing it pregnant so I'm guessing its decently stretchy! Macys always has good sales and free shipping so you could always order and try it on.

@snowjewelz: Me too!! I got a lot of maternity dresses there when I was pregnant, and the prices are really reasonable! Just bought a bunch this morning for 3 upcoming weddings since my new body shape doesn't fit into my old stuff. (thanks giant boobs.)

@Adira: Motherhood Maternity had some really cute wrap dresses that were short sleeved when I was pregnant (my LO is close to Xander's age) and they didn't even look maternity! I wore mine to lo's baptism and it was really easy to nurse in.
