I thought she'd go for something a little more unique but maybe the Queen wouldn't have that! George is fine for a future king. I guess DD will have a bunch of boyfriends named George as I'm guessing there will be a spike in the name.

I love it. My nephew was just named George (5th in a line of Georges, actually!). I was really hoping they'd include Spencer in his name, too, though.

I was hoping for 4 names, like William, Harry, and Charles all have, but I think it is perfect for him.
Eta: while it would have been nice for them to include Spencer in the name, I'm not terribly surprised they didn't, actually.

I like it, too! Fit for a prince! Are there any relatives with the name George? I can't think of any. Maybe that's why they chose it over using another names.

I think it's very cute. I love that they stuck with tradition. He will be kind some day, and it's very fitting. I was a little sad that "William" didn't make it into his name, but maybe they aren't into that whole thing.

I'm glad Louis wasn't the first name. That's a top contender for us. I think George is nice. I wonder if it's popularity will spike.

I love it. Last night at dinner, my husband said, "I bet it will be George Alexander something." Errrr.....he was the closest of anyone I know. Ha!

I'm not a big fan of the name George. My FIL is named George and absolutely didn't want our LO named after him or his middle name which he didn't like either. I was hoping for James. James is more regal sounding to me.

George was in our top 3 if DD had been a boy (team green). Obviously, I love it, and it's a family name for us too. My guess for them had been George Frederick Louis Charles. I'm actually not huge on Alexander, personally, but overall it feels very them.
