I don't mind it! I never really liked George but a guy at work has a cute little boy named George so it kind of grew on me... my guess was George William James Spencer. I so wish they had included Spencer in the name!

You knew it would be old fashioned and classic, so I really like it. Prince George, king George... Sounds nice.

I love George! I was pushing for it for my own son.

Love the name George! It was nixed from my list by DH though. So glad the newest royal has it!
@LindsayInNY: I was also hoping Spencer would have been thrown in there somewhere.

I love it! I once had a 4 year old in my clas named George and before that, I could never see it for a kid. But this kid was so adorable and it fit him. I also love Alexander.

Apparently we pick very royal names! We have a Charlotte (which was one of the girl contenders for names) and I was dying to name our LO George, if he was a boy.

@Pepper: I was hoping Alexander was going to be the first name... but only b/c that's my LO's name.

I love Alexander and was wishing that for the first name. However, I think George is a perfectly "royal" name. I wonderi f it'll gain popularity now??
Wasn't Queen Elizabeth's dad a George?

I was hoping they'd choose something a little more unique (not you-neek), but I figured they'd choose something very classic and regal. But my opinion obviously doesn't matter It IS a very
"kingly" name though.

@mrskc: haha, I'm kind of glad it's not. Xander doesn't need to share a name with a prince.
