In case you are new and still finding your way around the boards, I just wanted to let you know about a great feature where you can click "Reply" on the left hand side of a user comment. They will receive an automatic email that you have replied to their comment. I love this feature because it ensures you do not miss comments so I just wanted to point it out. 
PS - The blogs have the same feature!

Is there no way to reply to multiple people in the same post without typing it yourself? Whenever I hit reply for a second person in the same post, my first reply goes away

@artbee: really! I'll have to let Mr. Bee know. The multiple replies always work for me. Have you tried it recently? There was a time when it didn't work.

@Andrea: I have tried it recently. I usually do it accidently and then it erases my whole thing and I have to type it over again. I'm jealous, I want mine to work!

what's not that convenient is that you can only hit the reply button once. if you hit it again, it will refresh the page and you'll lose whatever you already wrote.
i have to just type in the @name.

It doesn't work for me either! I always feel like a weirdo because I'll reply to 3 people or something and have to post 3 times. But it is cool that you get an email with a reply.
