After a horrible day... accidentally whacking my face with my blow dryer, accidentally cutting my face with my finger nail, having a client SCREAM on a voice mail.. and then waiting all day to reach them......... I'm finally calling it a day.

@Mrs. Champagne: Oh my gosh... that's a tough day! I recently whacked myself in the face with my hair brush. There is still a bruise on my brow bone. Sucks.. But seriously... how could I forget that its a long weekend?!? Hooray! Have fun, lady!

Happy long weekend!
Today's been okay, but the rest of the week has just been shit. DH hit OT around noon yesterday, so I've barely seen him at all, and E has seen him less. E is teething again so his sleep is ridonkulous and he's been super clingy so I can't get anything done. I'm looking forward to having some relief.

@Mrs. Champagne: Yes! Including Monday! We were hoping he'd get today off (because of the OT, and because it's his birthday) but two of his fellow leads are out of town so they really can't spare him. And he says the hours are easier to handle when he's getting OT pay.
We have two tickets to Hershey Park, and are planning on going tomorrow if my SIL can watch E for a few hours. I think a few hours on roller coasters would be an excellent decompresser for both of us!

@FutureMrsMcK: oh that's great! glad he has it off.. hopefully he can get out in good time tonight! My DH works a ton of OT too.. money is great, but it sucks never knowing when he will be home! Enjoy your weekend

I'm in a for a long weekend of solo parenting. Can't wait to drink tomorrow night with two engaged couples and one of their maid of honor. I've done so many chores today like run to Target, unload dishwasher, clean out fridge. I need to shower and prep food for LO's dinner. I still don't have thank you's written and packages prepared, but thank goodness for coffee shops up the street!
