Clipped Tors thumb tip while cutting his nails! Feeling dreadful and I can't get it to stop bleeding. I tried to wrap it but He gets out of everything I wrap. It's still bleeding and he is eating an apple now. It doesn't seem to bother him but I am so worried! Help! What do I do? We would come out of pocket for doctor so I'm trying to avoid that unless absolutely necessary. Fuck!

Do you have any band aids? He probably can't get one of those off. It's hard to say without seeing it, but I can't imagine damage from nail clippers would be bad enough to need medical attention.

My LO likes band aids, especially if they have something cute on them. Do you have any you could try? Or maybe a piece of tape?

He gets bandaids off so easily! I put some flour on it cause I read that might help. He is very capable and can get out of almost anything and his thumb is so tiny I can't get it wrapped tight on my own

I created a bandaid out of medical tape and gauze. I was able to wrap it really tightly so my LO couldn't take it off.
Try wrapping it over the thumb and around. If it gets wet it will come loose though.

Glad it stopped bleeding! Cutting LOs nails is hard enough, adding the stress of not cutting their skin makes it almost impossible for me to not get stressed out cutting her nails!
