We have a k'tan and a boba 3G.

I've used the k'tan a few times- its definitely the right size for me as far as I can tell, but she is really snug in there and I constantly am worried about her position. I have only used the kangaroo/newborn position so far- I think I may like it more when she is larger and we can use some of the other positions.

My husband and I both love the Boba 3G, and so does babe. She'll take good long naps in it, and its pretty comfortable for both of us to wear her.

I've been researching baby-wearing in hot weather, and it seems like people prefer mei-tai carriers. My husband has also expressed some interest in a sling style carrier- my hesitation with slings is that it seems like the shoulder you wore her on would get really sore?

I was thinking about getting another carrier as part of his father's day gift (because its a good excuse!). What should I get? We'll also be purchasing a frame back-pack for hiking in the fall when she is older.
