Due to the leak in the hallway and guest bedroom, we have to get new flooring in the guest bedroom, hallway, living room, dining room, and family room. Please help me choose the living room, hallway, dining room, and family room engineered wood.
If you are anything like me knowing your left from your right can be difficult. The stickers on the wood are all to the Left.

I like the richness of the top left and I think the color will stand the test of time!

I like the top left and middle the most. The top right would be my last choice!

The middle or either of the 2 on the left. I voted middle, but I think I actually prefer the bottom left. The color is very neutral and would provide a good background to any color scheme.

The middle was my initial, gut choice pick. After spending more time with the samples the Top Left looks good. Here is a pick of one of the dining room chair legs atop of my two favs. Also the travertine tile in the kitchen and foyer would but up against the wood. The wall color is light. The baseboards will be upgraded.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I like the tone of top left but I love long planks!!! We have long planks throughout our home and it is so sexy. Does the long plank on that line come in any other colors?

@regberadaisy: The other large 5" plank samples were in more rustic tones similar to the Bottom Right. There were even samples that had distressed knotting to the touch. Those aren't our style, so we had the floor guy take those back. Here the other two boards. The one with the four individual samples- top right is most similar to the current color we have.

We thought about just replacing the hallway, living room and dining room with the closest match- 3" planks, but once we saw the other board we wanted to get new wood altogether. Which means we now need to change the family room since you can see the rooms from each other. This is what we are replacing. ..

I think the middle is nice and practical for pets/kids. Not so light that every scratch is obvious, not so dark that every speck of dust and fuzz is noticable.
