L'Oreal Colour Riche in True Red. Seriously the BEST red ever.

I love red lipstick and I used to wear it a lot. I've tried tons of brands, including the classic MAC Russian Red and Ruby Woo. I would pick the L'Oreal over both of them.

If you have a CVS near you, you can buy, try/use/whatever and return any you don't like! I bought a dozen before my wedding and returned all but the one I picked to use - some were used and some were still brand new!

I really like Nars Flamenco. Yes, it's pricier-ish. But it's a little sheer and buildable, which I find makes it SO MUCH more wearable. It's my go-to red. Honestly if you just set aside $20 and go to Sephora and ask them to help you pick one, they'll let you try on a bunch of testers and help you find one in your price range that is a good fit for your skin tone.
