So, the original plan was to buy Sadie the Kidkraft vintage kitchen (#1 below), but now I'm having second thoughts. It seems pretty small, and if I'm going to spend over $100 on a toy, I want it to last forever. Most of the reviews have mentioned the small size being most appropriate for 1-2yo. I still love the look, but just not sure. Anyone that has a play kitchen, please let me know what you think about yours! Here are my top contenders, help me out:

I actually love the 3rd option because it looks like the one I had as a child lol! I'm not sure how helpful that is... I guess I also like that its pretty neutral and has that pop of red!

We have the last one and I love it. And I mean love it. It is bigger than many kitchens I have seen, and I love that it is such a sturdy wood. Bonus, it's only $99 at Costco right now!

We have #1 in the red color. Noelle is almost 4, and tall for her age - she still plays with it everyday! We got it for her when she was close to 2.

Have you thought about the ikea kitchen? As far as how big it is, my son is almost 4 and height-wise, I would guess he could use it until he's 5 before he's too tall for it. If not, I love the look of the first one.

Kids don't seem to mind when things are small. Although the first option might be a littler smaller compared to the rest, I doubt a kid will stop playing with it because the counter height is a little low. Also, those reviews saying it's for a 1-2 year old doesn't seem quiet right - they haven't taken into account the limited pretend play a baby that young can manage. I got LO a play kitchen at 1 and it's definitely a toy she grew with (and one I could have waited to give her). I got her the Modern Country Kitchen.
If you like the Vintage, I would stick with that and ignore the size comparisons.
Eta: I was absolutely obsessed with counter height for play kitchens and I realize now that it really doesn't matter as long as a toddler can reach it.

We have the vintage and my 3.5 year old still plays with it daily. I think it's a good height to grow into. My 11 month old also loves playing in the kitchen, but he isn't quite tall enough for some of the features. It's not too big and doesn't get in the way.

@Mrs Green Grass: I like the size of the uptown, but the style doesn't match our house or my aesthetic really. I know it's ridiculpus to match a play kitchen to your "style," but it will be in our living room and I'm crazy. 
@Rainbow Sprinkles: ahh! I wish I had a membership. I love that one too. It's $165 on Amazon. Is it possible to buy something from Costco without a membership??

@photojane: I know for BJs that I can get a day pass for a family member or something - they have a 60 day promo free membership on their site too. maybe costco has similar??

@photojane: I think it's online right now.....I am sure you could have someone buy it for you! I would do it! Or you could just go shopping with someone who has one. They have the cutest pastel matching appliances, too.
Also, I could take a pic of my girls st the kitchen if you wanted to see size. This is my fave kidkraft kitchen....I love girly stuff.

@photojane: We have the corner kitchen and I would HIGHLY recommend it. I think it could work not in a corner. You could face the bit with the "window" out into the room.

@photojane: you can buy online without a membership #, just costs more. I can wall you my number if you want. You still can charge on your CC and ship to your house. We bought our camera this way before we got a membership.

@photojane: A Costco membership is only $55 for a year, so you could use the savings to buy a membership! Then you could have savings on other stuff all year long
ETA: Not sure if you know someone that lives near you with a membership? Before we got ours I'd go with my mom to get stuff. As long as one person has a membership it's fine...they don't ask each person in the group to see a membership card.

@lawbee11: we don't have one close by. The closest one is kind of in the hood, so I don't know anyone that shops there. All of my family members have Sam's Club memberships. A membership would be a waste of money for us, because we never go over that way. I wish we had a nice one! Y'all are always talking about Costco & I'm jealous!
