A good friend of mine is having a baby in April, and her shower is next month. The pregnancy was a surprise, and she doesn't have much experience with babies. She's in law school, so I'm one of her only friends that actually has a baby! They had no idea what to register for, so there is like 4 things on their registry - only clothes, bathtub, and bedding!

So, I want to put together a gift basket with some "essentials" that non-mamas might not think of (I'm sure most of her other friends will get her clothes). We've loaned them our RNP & FP swing, and I've already given her some Aquaphor, zip-up jammies, and linking rings.

So far I've got a pack of Swaddlemes in my cart... what else?
