one wk from today is the bird anniversary! it's our 2nd anniversary, so i need to come up with something cotton that is pretty quick, and reasonably priced (probably should have thought of something more than a wk in advance, next year i'll do better, lol!).

I got DH a shirt for our second. I actually got him a bunch of small gifts and added the shirt in there so I would stay with the theme.

@wahine08: & @looch: we used to have 'slumber parties' where we'd order delivery, put on our PJs, watch a bunch of movies and sleep in the living room, it was stupid and cheesy, but i loved our slumber parties, so that could be a great theme. thanks!
@sotofamilia: he is a gym rat, but he isn't into team sports- he wrestled, boxed, did bodybuilding and some powerlifting, he likes independent sports, lol. but maybe i could get him a gym item

Cotton ball cap and tee with his favorite fall/ winter sport teams to deck himself when he watches the game.

@mrs. bird: that is my 2nd anniversary too!! my mom does the themed gifts for us as a couple and I believe we are getting monogrammed sheets. I plan on always adding in one thing to her gift especially for DH, so this year its a pats jersey! good luck- i'd love to hear what you pick out

It's our cotton anniversary two weeks from today! I was going to get him a bomb diggity new pillow, or a t-shirt and a couple other items.

We had our cotton anniversary this summer! We went out together and chose a new set of sheets for the bed and a couple of nice brookstone pillows!

@sunset840: awww, i love that your mom gives you such thoughtful gifts! last year i took DH on a cruise and my parents gifted us the excursion to disney world since DH had never been. we are so lucky to have such thoughtful and generous parents! happy anniversary, fellow new englander!

Our 2nd anniversary is coming up, too and our DH's are very much into the same thing. I am thinking gym clothes or some other tshirt type thing. But a bathrobe is an EXCELLENT idea...trouble will be finding one big enough!

@bpcmarj: it probably wasn't cotton, but I got DH a big robe from target before last christmas (and Christmas pjs 'cause I'm super cheesy & require proper holiday attire for Christmas morning ) it was like the material they use for Berkshire blankets, the super soft thick fuzzy stuff, it had some stretch to it so DH's biceps fit unlike a flannel robe that doesn't have any give to it. I'm not sure if they carry them all the time but try there!

Our 2nd is coming up as well! I was thinking of getting him a nice shirt that he has always wanted but never splurged on. I was going to get him some nice new button downs for work but he went ahead and bought himself some last week. Argh! I love the idea of fancy new sheets or towels... maybe I will drop the hint to him!
