its better to drink the "glucose drink" fast than slowly take sips...
You will taste it less!

i picked the orange soda (minus the soda since it was flat). chugged it in 5 seconds - wasn't bad at all! don't forget to eat something light (but no carbs) so you're not starving after!

I dont know if it helps but I drank lots and lots of water on the day of my test since I ate a few hours before. and I passed my test

Bring something to eat for right after the test. You'll be starving and won't want to wait.

Go in as early as possible for the test so you can get it over with. Avoid sugar the day before (I didn't do this and just barely failed the first one). My doctor said no food or water from 12am the night before, so check with yours on what they recommend.

Chug the drink, make sure it is cold (my clinic gave me a cup of ice to chill it down), and make sure to bring a snack to eat as soon as you are done!

Avoid carbs and sugar - and just eat "light" for 12-18 hours prior, you'll be happy you did when you pass. Good luck!

Avoid sugar/sweet items, carbs, and "bad" things. Load up on iron. CHUG the drink! Good luck

Yes, definitely avoid carbs/sugar before the test. You're not allowed to eat or use the restroom after the drink so use the restroom beforehand. And, you also aren't allowed to leave the hospital during the test so bring a book or something else to do.
