@Mrs. High Heels: we have the same mat. I think it's an eye sore but Ds loves it.

@LaineysMom: True, the children's factory mat would match better with your playard, but it looks really soft/squishy to me. I think I'd prefer something firmer for a playmat, but that's just me.

My vote still goes to the softiles! What about the softiles with the safari animals in red, blue, & white... or the one with black, gray, & white? I really like the die-cut circle style ones too - http://www.softtiles.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=121

@mamabear57: I agree. I cringed when I first saw it, but it grew on me and now it doesn't look so bad. DD loves it too. We use the alphabet side.

@LaineysMom: Yea, that's what I was thinking too. I really like the black, gray, and white one.... it'll match everything and stay subtle in the background long after the playard is gone!

I couldn't find the purple, white, and gray one you've been referencing, though that color combo sounds really nice too.

I voted soft tiles in blue combo but just wanted to add that I have an earlier version of this play yard and its held up so well and I plan to resell it since its in such great shape. We still have it up and DS is almost 2 and he loves to play in it.
