Just posting because I'm WIDE AWAKE on a Saturday, thanks to a combo of heartburn, nausea, hunger, and back pain (plus mosquito bites).
What are you up to at the crack of dawn this morning?

@grizz: Oh Tums. If only they were instant. How are you feeling? Things progressing at all?

Prilosec... my OB was the one who put me on it because it was making my already never-ending nausea that much worse. (One of those "lucky" women who's nausea didn't end in the second... and we are rounding the third. Yay!) Best thing ever. Seriously ask your OB about it!
As far as why I'm up? At work. But I get off in 45 minutes!!!

Ah yes, I too know the joys of pregnancy-related heartburn.
I woke up because I was ravenous.

Heading out to go pick up DH from his sleep study. I had one of the best nights sleep I've had in a long time! Felt so good to have the bed to myself but I missed him.
@MapleMoose: ugh food now I must eat before I go get him.

Sorry
No heartburn, but I have been tossing and turning just waiting for 7:00 so I could get out of bed. I actually dislike going to bed and look forward to waking up because I don't sleep at all. Now I am gonna go watch DH to "Murph" at CrossFit. Definitely glad I have an excuse just to watch...its brutal!

Ugh, I hope you get some rest soon. I just toss and turn all night.

I'm an early riser, but usually so thankful for the morning so I can go ahead and get out of bed! I'm usually crazy uncomfortable at that point anyway...
Thank goodness my acid reflux seems to have mostly subsided, but there is an old wive's tale that heartburn = baby hair! I'm a believer, because we can see hair on our ultrasound and my family is strong with the bald baby gene.

@redsmarties: Just the same dull ache with crampiness and a heavy feeling! I've had some contraction-type feelings mixed in. Our childbirth class instructor said it sounds like early first stage labor but that I could feel this way for up to 2 weeks!
@Espion: This baby had TONS of hair at an ultrasound I had at 31 weeks so I'm really curious to see how much he has at birth!
We ran into a friend last night and she had her 2 week old with her. She has tons of dark hair and I got choked up thinking we might have a baby that little with that much hair next week!
