My DS, 16 months, just spiked a high fever. It shot up in a few hours and he started vomiting as well. Our pediatricians website says not to worry about fevers at 104 or 105. We gave him tylenol before we realized how high it was. I am trying not to worry but can't help it.
What would you do? I was thinking about giving him Motrin in a little bit but he is already asleep.

I'd probably call the doctor. I'm a paranoid parent though. Hope your DS feels better soon!

I would give another dose of Tylenol if it hadn't started to come down an hour after the first dose.
I'm not generally one to alternate just b/c the dosage & timing is so different between tylenol & ibuprofen
And I always reference this to make me feel better

Thanks ladies! We checked his temp again and it barely broke 100. He woke up and seemed more himself and is going back to sleep.

@creativemomma15: I love it! And I learned from another thread where I posted it that Mrs. Jacks did residency there, if I remember correctly (she said she liked them too. tehe).
