Does or did your newborn have days when they just wanted to be held more ? Every time I get DS to sleep and put him down he wakes up ! I think he just wants to be held today ! He has been so gassy so maybe he just needs a little extra love today

yep, lots of them. The transition from womb to worls is so drastic, I think they sometimes NEED the comfort of being held close to what is familiar. Now I beg Liv to cuddle with me most days lol!

Mine wanted to be held all.the.time. If DH or someone else was holding him he'd throw a fit if they weren't standing up (he didn't mind me sitting with him, because boobs). He napped in my arms for almost 5 months because he'd wake up and start crying the second he realized he wasn't being held.
