@irene: Yep, I feel super stingy too with this thread. We have an in-home daycare that is in a new building trying to build clientele, so I'll give a bit more this year probably. But if I don't know them or interact with them, then I don't think they need a holiday tip from me.

We have an in home, part time daycare provider. I spent about $40 on her. I'll leave something for the mail guy, maybe $10. My husband used to work for UPS and said the delivery drivers can be different every day, so leaving something for them could end up benefitting someone who rarely comes and the guy who comes more often may never know about it. I did see a cool idea about leaving a basket with some snacks and bottled waters for delivery people to grab, so I might set some out.

@Miss Sarah: we have tons of different drivers this time of year especially so I leave out a basket with waters and snacks. Some of the drivers take some, some don’t.
