The thread about the painting class reminded me about how fun our last painting meetup was! Anyone want to do it again? HB ladies night out?? A Saturday night would be best for me. Let me know if you're interested and which dates would work. Maybe sometime in August or September? I'll start looking for a venue...

I'd be happy to do it again with you all! Saturday evenings can be pretty open for me. I'm on the west side now rather than in Spring so a central Houston location might be nice if possible if there are others spread around, too.

Most of the Saturday night classes are from 7-10. For dates, we could do 8/23, 8/30 (this is Labor Day weekend, though), or 9/27. Thoughts?

Just saw this and I'm super excited for another Houston meet up! Pinots palette is super fun and the one a Montrose is literally two blocks from my house! I'm out of town both 8/23 and 9/27, bummer!

Aw I'm going to be in Austin weekend of 9/27 and 8/23 is the last Saturday before my DD starts public school so I might be really tied up... I really hope to make it someday!

@travellingbee: @Leialou: @LAZB: @mrs.shinerbock: @pelikila: Here are the painting options. The top one is 8/23 (trees with the moon) and the second one is 9/27 (pink tree). We could also do 9/20 if more people would be able to go that date that won't be able to go 8/23 or 9/27, but it's "date night" that night (so one person paints the red-ish part of the tree and another paints the blue-ish part then you can hang them next to each other), though I guess the paintings could stand on their own (it's the last pic I've attached). Let me know what y'all think!

Also if at least 10 people will go, you could get the private room at the Galleria location for 2 or 3 hrs and pick any of the paintings they have available. I did this for another event and it was great to have the private room since we had our own instructor, picked a cool painting, listened to the music we wanted on their system, an brought food and booze and didn't have to worry about making too much noise! Maybe something to think about!!

Wow, I didn't see this until just now. I don't know if I'll be able to make this one. I'm directionally challenged and doingba night class in Houston scares the bejeezus out of me. Haha.

So the class is $49. Does that work for everyone? If it's too expensive we can try to think of something else to do...
