Any Houston moms out there? I know I'd seen something about meet ups awhile back, but haven't seen anything recently. I'm still coming out of the fog from baby #2, but am hoping to get out and do some activities with both boys.
Where do you find the best activities for your Houston toddler? Baby? Any suggestions on moms groups?

@AggieDaze: what part of town are you in? When I SAH, I was part of a meetup.com group called EC Moms that was pretty active and usually had fun activities. It's mostly SAHMs in the Energy Corridor.

I had a nice mom's group through The Motherhood Center on Alabama. I also had a mom's group from my Spring Branch area. I don't know what part of town you are in. We can meet up with our boys. How old is your older one?

I've heard a lot about Hike It Baby meet ups in my local breastfeeding Facebook group.
Where are you located? There's lots of us throughout the city. I've been thinking we need to plan another meetup soon! Maybe towards the end of the month or early March?

I'm a member of a local MOMS club chapter. It's been awesome for me, so I highly recommend it if you stay home! Either way, some of my kids' favorite local, somewhat out-of-the-norm activities: feeding the HPD mounted patrol, visiting Old MacDonald's Farm in Humble, Rosenberg's railroad museum, children's performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre along with a train ride...

@rattles: I loved Old McDonald's farm as a kid but the one time I took LO there (she was just around 1, so it's been awhile) I was disappointed. We were there for a birthday party. I want to take her back but I'm not sure if it's worth it...

@Mrs. Sunshine: I didn't think it compared to Dewberry or Blessington, but my 3 year old still talks about it and we haven't been since October! I threw it in there because it's one of her faves more than because it's mine

@AggieDaze: The rodeo is definitely fun for the littles.. my DD really enjoyed the pig races, etc. at that age. Get there early, it gets extremely crowded. Also, U-pick season for strawberries has already started at a lot of places, so that might be fun.

Hi! I'm in the woodlands! My girls are 10 weeks so I'm just starting to feel more human again. I try to attend events through our local MoM chapter and looking for other groups as well. I'm taking an extended maternity leave and don't plan to go back until July-ish
