Just wondering... how active is your due date board on Hellobee? Do you feel like you've made friendships and/or bonds with your fellow due date members? Or is it just another board on the site for you...

I'm not as active on it this time around, but I do try and keep up as much as possible!

Our lives were in such a transition phase that I didn't have much of a chance to get super involved AFTER having J, but I think we all kept up to date with the "what the hell is my body doing?!" questions of pregnancy

Ours is pretty active but I have a hard time keeping up with it, and as such, don't feel quite as connected to it as I did to my June 2012 mamas. I think it's just harder to keep up when you have a toddler to take care of. Also, because I've been through all of this before, I don't have as many questions, nor do I get the same level of excitement about particular pregnancy events as I did when I was a FTM. That being said, I do still enjoy following along and like knowing that there a bunch of women out there all going through the same stage of pregnancy!

The oct 12 board is definitely less active now. The aug 14 board is pretty active and there are a lot of ladies on there. I'm hoping I can get to know them all better. There are quite a few pregnant with #2 so that's nice.

I really like the Feb board, although sometimes it's hard to keep up with it. Pretty excited to start seeing the babies arive!

I'd say of the people subscribed a little more than half are pretty active and we have great conversation! Its nice to keep up with a few other Bees due around me and I wish I had it for my first pregnancy.

I didn't know people kept up with their boards after their LO arrived! That's cool. I found HB after LO was born so I never considered getting involved.
I wonder would a good gold feature be a customizable front page to keep relevant boards fresh in your mind? Maybe that would make the due date boards more popular after the babies arrive? @mrbee:

@mrbee: I guess I was thinking like, ok, people maybe don't think to post in their due date board because it is easier to just type up a general post, or maybe they don't see updates to their due date board because they aren't on HB when it is updated and by the time they get on HB, the thread is on like, page seven. This is probably the case with any number of threads, but the due date board seems like it is particularly vulnerable to this, especially after the due date passes.
But what if gold members had a dashboard or desktop (like igoogle?) where they could easily access threads of their choice? Like a homepage? Where they could see links to five threads or something, so that's the first thing they see? Or it could be on the side... Or on your wall!
I guess is this the same as subscribe? Except it would be in the site and not in the inbox....

@mrbee: I think @Mrs. Sketchbook basically wants to be able to sticky up to 5 posts for just herself so when she logs in a couple of her favorite posts are always at the top? Is that what I'm understanding?

The Oct 13 mamas are awesome! I consider them good friends. It's a smaller crowd than some other due dates but I think that makes it easier to keep up with.

The September 13 board is less active now that we're either back at work or running around after our kiddos, but I consider the mamas there as friends as we chatted a lot during pregnancy!

The August 14 board is super active. I think it helps that there were a lot of moms that have already been here for a long time. I feel close to a lot of the moms already because we were in the TTC 6+ months trenches together, but I'm enjoying getting to know the ones I haven't interacted with much as well!

Both the boards I was on were pretty active. The May 2012 was super active and I've made great friends with those ladies!!! The August 2013 board was/is really active as well, I just couldn't keep up as much because I had a LO running around.

The March 13 board it pretty active. In fact we are in our 3rd string since our babies were born. I imagine we will start #4 once they turn 1.

Like @smurfette said above, the March 2013 board is quite active! It can be hard to keep up but I love how busy it is and getting to know the other March 2013 Mamas!

April 2014 is pretty active, I'd say! We have our lulls, but I really like our conversations. And it's picking back up now that we're in third trimester

This month it is pretty active because our babies are due but otherwse I don't think it is very active/as active as I thought it would be.

We are still in the first tri so its really slow with just appointment and symptom check ins.

I think June 2014 has a lot of STMs which makes the discussion a little different, and I'm sure the LOs are keeping moms busy!

Our January 2013 was pretty active even though there weren't too many of us. Things have slowed down now that the kids are toddlers!

I didn't really get involved with my first due date board, but this one is pretty active. It's hard for me to keep up! I kind of wish we had several threads instead of one big one.

Pretty active, and we're just starting out!
It's crazy because I know a lot of the ladies there already from the TTC 6 Months + thread, so I already feel like I have a bond with many of them!

November '13 ladies are super active, I was in their group but LO came early so I read the October '13 boards more often because my LO is their age.

I love the march 13 board and all the ladies on it. It is nice to have a group with babies going through the same stages.

Our August 2013 board is super active. I think we may even have the most posts ever? I could be wrong though. We have started a PP board now which has been awesome. I feel like I've gotten to know lots of the August mamas and love that we are still chatting it up Pp.
