When both you and your husband work full time in a scheduled environment (you can't leave any time you want to do school pick up, take your kid places, etc) how are you going to handle daytime events your child may want to go to?

Example: swim team. Swim team is during the day in the summer. It is not before work/school hours. How do you plan on getting your kid there and back to their after care/summer program? Or maybe the child just needs to get TO swim team and you can get to them by the end of it. Can working parents with set schedules manage this or do their kids just not get to do these types of things?
