I would say my Excel skills are above average due to the amount I use it, however I wish I was better at identifying some of the formulas!

I'm really awful with Excel. I can barely sort properly! I guess that's part of the issues with getting a degree in English. I didn't take a single computery class!

I was good back in hs/college but haven't touched it since (5+ years ago). So I am awful at it and get so frustrated, thankfully I never need to use it and DH loves his excel spreadsheets so he helps me out if I ever need to use it.

I am an Excel expert. I love Excel and what it can do. As a computer programmer I also program it with VBA. I can make Excel jump through hoops.

I can do vlookups in my sleep, haha. But I suck at pivot tables and macros. I do know all the keyboard shortcuts, though.

@brownie: I took a course in that for my MIS degree in college. It was kind of cool to program macros and what not.

They are poor. Haha. My husband is an Excel expert. We use Excel for our household budget and every time a formula needs to be tweaked or something I have to get him to do it.

@twodoghouse: I'm the same way! Except I was a liberal studies major... and now I'm somehow managing the department checkbook. EEEEEK.
I know how to do basic things (sort, find, filter) and then more advanced things based on muscle memory (I really don't know WHAT I'm actually doing).

Those of you who don't have to use it often enough to be skilled should consider yourselves lucky! I work in excel all day, errday, so I'm a pro. Sometimes I think the gridlines are burned into my retinas.

This is about where I am. I really would like more practice on pivot tables but I dont' use them often enough to remember what I learn. I have all the keyboard shortcuts and formulas down though.
