Inspired by the pumping schedule thread, I'm curious how much other people's EBF babies eat at one sitting? Talking pumped milk of course.
D is 5.5 months and drinks 4oz bottles every 3 hours at daycare. Every so often he doesn't finish an ounce or so of one of them.

J will drink whatever you give him, so one day he had a 9oz bottle...until I freaked out bc I only pump 11-15oz daily. He normally drinks three 4oz bottles on Mondays for my MIL and at daycare he takes three 5oz bottles. He is 7.5 months

I'm curious about this too. I ebf but we give her a bottle in MOTN and have been giving her 5 oz. She would eat up to 6 if she could! But I wonder if I'm giving her too much? She's 3 months. It takes me 2, or even 3 pumping sessions to get that much though.

5oz is the most we've ever given her. That's what we send to daycare and she rarely finishes the entire thing in one sitting. I think 4oz bottles are standard for EBF babies.

LO is 14 months and she never took more than 5 fl oz. Once she started solids I could only keep up with 4 fl oz so that's what she got.

From 4.5-9.5 mo, DD had 3-3.5 ounces every two hours. Once we really ramped up solids, she went to 3 ounces every three hours.

3.5oz-4oz / bottle at 2.5 months. I think 4 is the most we'll go. We give the daycare little "boob cubes" to thaw out if she needs an ounce or two as a snack to hold her over, but rarely does she take more than her 3 bottles.

The most she ever drank was 4 ounce bottles, every 4 hours. Usually it was closer to 3 ounces. She hated bottles so much.

4 ounces. When she first started daycare, I sent 3.5 ounces but as she got a little bigger (around 4 months), I upped the amount a bit. She usually finishes them but her teachers say she seems satisfied so no need to send bigger ones. She'll often start by eating 3 oz, take a break, and then finish the last ounce a half-hour later or so.

If I go out and leave my husband a bottle to feed out babe, I leave 5oz and he usually drinks the whole thing (or leaves a little bit). I wouldn't leave more than that because I think that's all he needs in one sitting.
It's interesting because my FF friends give their babies 7-8oz per feed. I think FF babes are used to eating bigger volumes. I read once that ebf babies often take less (sometimes half!) Of what FF babies take.

DD drinks 5-6 oz every 3-4 hours at 4 1/2 months. It seems like a lot for an ebf baby but I'm okay with it and have been able to keep up. She also eats 5-6 times in 24 hours.
