We are having to switch rooms for our nursery because despite sinking $10k into our HVAC system recently our second floor is still sweltering, especially the nursery. Even with the AC running (a brand new unit in a dual unit/dual zone!) it was 80 degrees in there yesterday, while the room across the hall was 75. We're lucky to have a few spare rooms so we're just going to swap. DH is not thrilled about ripping out the nice closet system he installed, though.

In a moment of desperation I took the crib mattress and put it on the floor of the cooler room and realized I could just take the opportunity to do a more Montessori style nursery like I'd originally wanted. I don't know what we'd do with the original room and all the furniture, though! I'm including a photo of the original nursery to show you just how much furniture we have. Should we put any of it in there? And what do you think we should do with this room?

Or just forget it and move everything?
