@night cheese: haha! Immediately after our wedding we were talking about throwing a big 5 or 10 year anniversary party...hahahaha! Now I'd rather save that money! I want to go on a big trip to Europe or Africa for our 10 year!

So happy that despite a lot of stuff going wrong (and a lot went wrong) it was still an amazing day. We were seeing everyone for the first time in a year too as we live overseas, which made it even better. But literally, the moment I opened my eyes the day after, I was hit with the same stomach bug that had meant one if my sisters couldn't come to the wedding and it was horrendous! So I felt very, very sick a few hours after the wedding was over, lol, and soooo thankful that I came down with it then and NOT the day before, as there is no way I would have been able to drag my ass to the church.

OMG, I was so glad to be done with my wedding. I hated wedding planning and wanted to elope, but my husband wanted a wedding. It was so much work and stress, and then we almost had to cancel the whole thing because of Hurricane Irene!
I felt like I reclaimed my life once that insanity was over!

We got married at 22 & 23, now almost 8 years later I'm just happy to have an amazing marriage to the love of my life, isn't that the purpose of a wedding But seriously, sometimes our culture is too caught up in the wedding and not the marriage (I blame you Pinterest). In my opinion as long as the couple is married at the end of the night, the wedding was a success. Everything else is a bonus.

I was SOOO relieved it was over. Everything went off without a hitch, but it was so incredibly stressful.

We were on cloud 9. We had a couple major things go wrong but I knew nothing about it until later so my memories of the weekend are nothing short of amazing!

Our wedding turned out really well but I was so glad to be done. We were so tired. Maybe a couple of days later I started to feel sad it was done but looking back now, I don't know if I'd plan a huge thing like that again.

i was elated with happiness. And there were several little things that didn't go exactly as planned, but i couldn't care less. It was only later on (like weeks later), I nitpicked about some things and i think that was due to too much time spent on wedding websites

Happy! And marshmallows and bunnies. Cause in the end, we were married, and that's what mattered.
