1 - my mom was pregnant with her mom and they forced us to be friends. We call each other womb buddies and often joke about how we have nothing in common but our parents were so adamant about making us friends that now we're stuck with each other.
2. Middle school.
3. randomly through my husband. It's his employees' girlfriend.

There's a group of 6 of us who are extremely close. 4 of them were classmates since elementary school (along with DH, they actually introduced DH and I to each other!). I was brought into the group by moving in with one of the girls in college. We were dating step-brothers who were total douche bags and broke up with them within a month of moving in together and partied HARD for a year. Since then we've gained one more, the SIL to one of the girls

I have 3 childhood best friends. We all grew up together in the same church. We were 2 pairs of friends whose parents went on vacations together, etc. and we joined forces in 1st grade to make the 4 of us. We were all each others' bridesmaids/MOHs.
I have one more close girlfriend who was my MOH. She was my college roommate.

Grade school and my mom "set me up" with my current BFF. Both of families knew each other pretty much all their lives, but never introduced the kids to each other so my mom and her mom exchanged our email addresses and told us to contact each other. Ha!
