LO is almost a year and I'm going back to work soon. He is still up 1-2x/night and usually I nurse him because I'm tired and that seems to work! But I work night shifts and I know if he wakes up and I'm not there to nurse him, he will freak! I know he doesn't NEED to eat and it's definitely more a comfort thing...
So how did you night wean?

We did CIO with checks at 12.5 months. It was hard but worked in 3 nights. And then she got sick and we were traveling, etc etc and I am nursing overnight again at 16 months. 
we tried to do checks again the other night and it went horribly. Not sure what we're gonna do here. Guess I'm hoping she grows out of it on her own.

I used the Dr. Jay Gordon method of night weaning. Easy to find on google. It was a hard process but it worked! Good luck
