DS2 (13 months) is waking at least once a night, but recently 2-3 times a night, to nurse. We try CIO again and again, but unlike DS1, who was pretty much textbook when it came to Ferber, DS2 is game to cry for hours. Last night we had a goal to not nurse at all until 5am. He woke up crying at 145 or so and DH did checks until we threw in the towel at 3. He started crying again shortly after but fell asleep again until 6am after two checks.
How did you night wean? Did you set a time? Did you nurse for less time each session instead? Something else? Help!
FWIW he's not sick, but it cutting a tooth, for which we gave him tylenol at bed time. I'm for CIO and would love not to be reprimanded for it.
