How did you wake up this morning?
LO's crib has one side open to our bed and I woke her to her grinning at me from her crib and then coming over and headbutting me in the ribs for a while. Considering she let me sleep until 8 a.m., I was okay with it.

LO was squawking for me at 5:00. But I brought her into my bed to nurse her and she fell back to sleep so we cuddled until I had to get up at 6:30.

Then DD came down at 5:15. I felt like I was in some kind of alternate (bad) universe and so alone (DH out of town).

To DH kissing my arm to say he was leaving for work. Thank you DS for letting us sleep until 7!! DH is rarely the first awake and up.

@MrsSCB: the same thing used to happen every morning in our house until DD arrived last week! Now one of them gets put away at night... We'll see how long my husband can stand his beloved kitty being locked up at night

@MaisyMay: kind of similar to you! LO is in our bed and decided to wake up (and sit up!) at 5:30 ish this morning after kicking me in the ribs for a good 20 minutes. He was babbling away and then decided he wanted to scale DH like a mountain and then spit up a little on his back, haha.
So DH woke up to me saying "honey, get up, you need to change your shirt!"

@cmomma17: LO has been in our bed since her sickness and regression. We finally tried to remove part of her crib rail and put it next to our bed. Now she can sleep in her crib but feel like she's in our bed, and crawl into our bed from her crib. She's stopped crying when we put her in the crib now.

To my alarm. LO woke up about 15 minutes after I did. He had a great morning routine until he threw a big tantrum over his pacifier. He cried all the way to the car. I'm itching more and more to pacifier wean, but am scared he'll become a thumb sucker to soothe instead.

To B babbling away in his RNP. We bring him in our room after his 4 am feeding and I usually wake for the day around 7am to him chatting away.
