I've been trying to figure this out!
Am I missing something, or do you just get to change your HB picture/icon after a certain amount of posts? I've noticed those who have posted a lot are usually the ones who have something different than the little purple bee...

You have to go through Gravatar. http://en.gravatar.com/

You can also go to your profile, click on edit and then there is an option to upload new avatar.

On my iPhone I can just go to my profile, click Edit next to my username, then there is an option to Upload New Avatar.

@MamaMagpie: You can upload your avatar by clicking on you username, and then on EDIT... which will take you here!

Hmmmm...I've been to the edit profile page again, and still no option to "Upload New Avatar".
Could it be because I'm using an iPad? I tried it on my iPhone as well and neither give me an option. I'm not usually technologically challenged! I even had a girlfriend look at the screen to make sure I wasn't just blind!

@MamaMagpie: it won't let me do it on my iPad either because I haven't updated the software yet, but I have updated the software on my iPhone and it lets me do it, so I am thinking that's the reason. Have you updated yours?
