We had a spit up situation right after a wonderful lunch of sweet potato etc. that needs to be taken care of. How do you get your carseat and shoulder pads clean?

Don't use cleaning fluid/wipes on any part. Don't put straps in the washing machine.
Your owner's manual should have specific recommendations, but I put any fabric parts (not straps, those are nylon) in the washing machine and wash the straps and body with gentle dishwashing liquid like Dawn.

I put the cover in the washing machine on the "hand wash" cycle.

Definitely check your manual but it's generally recommended that covers be washed on gentle cycle with mild soap / powder and that straps never be soaked or saturated (wipe down with a damp cloth)

@chopsuey: @mrs.shinerbock: @autumnlove: @Kemma: I don't think I knew the seatcover came off! I will definitely check the manual, duh, didn't think of that!
Thank you!

@HazelEyes: Are you a member of Car Seats for the Littles on FB? If you ask there, they may be able to help you, as they are really knowledgeable. Don't use anything like vinegar or any cleaners on your straps, because that will weaken them and cause them to be faulty. You can also call the manufacturer about it.
