DS was only three months old the first time we took him camping. Luckily the shower was big enough for all of us so we just all showered together and traded off holding him when we were done. If that won't work maybe bring an extra towel and sit her on that when you are done?

We haven't been camping per se, but we have stayed in little guest houses with only a basic shower. We did exactly what you described: I showered with LO in my arms then handed him off to DH who had a towel ready. We've also taken an inflatable pool with us when we had more forethought, that made it really easy.

@artbee: i don't think so. Even Charlie fits in ours!

Inflatable tub sounds like a good idea. We've only gone camping for one night at a time. There's no shower facilities so we just don't shower. It gets too cold at night here to be showering outdoors. We do have a camping shower that we use to wipe ourselves though.

I would bring your regular little tub unless you want to buy the inflatable one that Mrs. Bee mentioned. We used the same one for a while. It is from One Step Ahead and will definitely fit your LO.

I just wrap dd up and have her sit on the bench while I get dressed. Its nice when each shower has a private changing room attached; if its a communal changing room I usually go fast so fewer people see me naked., oh and if I dont get to wash myself in the shower because DD is too antsy to leave, I go back after she has gone to sleep for the night.
