I've been living in maxi's at work. I usually wear mine with a short blazer (I have a black one that I wear with my striped or royal blue maxi.. and a black and white striped cropped one that I wear with my black maxi) usually a plain top underneath.

We're pretty casual here at my work, but I've been wearing maxi skirts and dresses and just making sure my shoes and hair/make up look more put together than normal.

I would do a striped or printed top, with jewlery in a fun color. I saw a woman with a black and white striped tee, a black maxi skirt and highlighter yellow cross body bag. Looked really chic.

I think she had the tee tucked into the skirt, though. Not sure about a long tee over a fold over skirt. I also wear my maxis with ballet flats.

I like to wear mine with statement necklaces. I think that dresses it up more. I also usually choose a dressier top/cardigan to pair with the maxi and try to put my hair up to feel more professional.

I'm rocking a maxi skirt right now with a cardigan buttoned up and a nice shirt underneath it that peaks out and flats. I work in a business professional place, but for some reason they are letting us get away with these...I love it and feel like I'm wearing pants (which aren't allowed.)

I agree with above and maybe add wedges instead of sandals?

I have a similar skirt from The Gap. I love it!!

To dress it up I would wear it with a tighter, plain tee and pearls or a tight camisole and a cardigan. I also have a lace top that dresses up any outfit. Statement jewelry is key!
