Do you eat with your hands or do you cut off the kernels with a knife?

Hands, with some nice little corn holders. It's just not the same with it off the cob, and being from Nebraska it would be a sin to not eat it the "right" way

With my hands! I remember when I had braces though in high school, and I would have to cut it off the cob

I use my hands! If I don't want to eat it on the cob, I'll just eat regular corn

Hands. I munch/blast through horizontally just to get started then take my time using my bottom teeth to clip out each individual row one at a time.

i've never used a knife to eat corn! i have used a fork (you kind of stick the fork in parallel to the cob and then twist to remove each bite), when i had a canker inside my mouth and didn't want to bite it, but otherwise i always bite it typewriter style =) LOVE corn on the cob!

I cut the corn off with a knife. I've done it since I had braces. I think it tastes better (which is probably crazy!).

Does it even count as corn on the cob if you cut it off? I always eat it on the cob with butter and Lowry's seasoned salt. Yummy!

With my hands, and corn pickers
@MrsBrewer: I remember doing that too! Urgh, not as good.

I use my hands, unless my MIL shucks the corn. She leaves so much silk on I have to cut it off. I have forbidden her from shucking duty.

I use my hands at home. If we are at a restaurant, I use a knife because it gets all up in my teeth.

I do both. It depends on how I feel that day. Haha.

I stand it it's head and cut all the kernals off with a knife. It stems from having braces/so many mouth surgeries, I never could eat corn on the cob, so now that I can it's a habit (and I like it better) to cut it off!
